As with all of my most recent work I didn't intend this to turn out as it did. The image of the crow struck me at first, while I was drawing the gulf oil spill was unfolding. It wasn't until weeks into it that I decided to put the oil rig into the drawing. I am always intrigued by how the art work reveals itself to me. I use to call this my subconscious but I now call it my higher conscious , it is the part of me that is taped into the universal energy. The self portrait in twined in the cow resembles an American Indian head dress. The wisdom of the American Indian has been
ignored and we are suffering the
consequences.
